Tools and Resources
These are the tools I use with my own websites. I’m either currently using them on one of my sites, or I’ve used them on past projects.
Web Hosting by Rocket.net
I’ve used 20+ different hosts over the years, and Rocket.net is easily the best. They provide lightning-fast WordPress hosting that helps you to give your visitors a positive user experience. They also offer incredible customer service and support (consistently the best I’ve ever received), including free migrations. Flip My Site is hosted by Rocket.net, and I highly recommend them.
NEURONwriter – Content Optimization
I’ve tried a lot of SEO tools for optimizing content (new and existing content) and NEURONwriter is my favorite. It uses semantic models to help you create content that Google loves. NEURONwriter shows you the words and phrases you should add to your title, subheaders, and body copy. I’ve used it with several websites, and it works. It’s also priced lower than most of its competitors.
KWFinder – Affordable Keyword Research
The only downside to Semrush is that it’s expensive and out of reach for many bloggers and site owners. KWFinder from Mangools is an excellent tool that I’ve used for years. You can do keyword research without blowing the budget.
ThriveCart – Conversion Focused Checkout
If you sell digital products, ThriveCart can help you increase your revenue and profit. I used ThriveCart for a few years on a photography site. Thanks to an optimized checkout, order bumps, and upsells, my revenue immediately increased by 40% when I started using it.
accessiBe – Web Accessibility Solution
Making your website accessible and ADA-compliant is a complicated task. The easiest solution is to install accessiBe. For WordPress-powered sites, all you need to do is install the accessiBe plugin and it handles everything for you. You’ll get a detailed accessibility audit report each month to ensure your site is accessible to all visitors.
Jasper – AI Content Writer
AI-generated content has come a long way in the past few years. I’ve tried many AI tools for assistance with writing blog posts, and Jasper produces the best quality output.
Semrush – Comprehensive SEO Tool
Semrush is one of the best tools available for search engine optimization. You can do keyword research, analyze your competitors’ traffic, research any site’s backlinks, run technical SEO audits, and much more.
Kadence – WordPress Theme
I’ve used the Kadence WordPress theme on all my sites for the last few years. It’s lightweight, fast, easy to customize, and offers loads of options. Kadence offers a free theme as well as a Pro upgrade. I use the Pro upgrade but the free theme is excellent as well.
Envato Elements – Unlimited Creative Assets
Many websites use stock photos, videos, illustrations, icons, and other creative assets. The price of licensing these resources can add up. Envato Elements offers unlimited downloads and commercial licensing of millions of creative assets.
Lasso – Beautiful Promo Boxes
I’ve used the Lasso WordPress plugin on some of my sites to create nice callout or promo boxes for affiliate promotions. Lasso makes it easy to create boxes and tables that look great and generate clicks.
WP Rocket – Speed Up Your WordPress Site

WP Table Builder is my favorite resource for creating beautiful, responsive tables. They provide many pre-designed templates you can customize, or create your own with drag-and-drop builder.
